If the air pressure drops, the tire loses its grip and can consequently slip completely off the rim. This happens, for example, with a puncture in the tire or when the inflation pressure has been intentionally reduced for off-road use to build up more traction on sand, snow, or mud due to the increased flexing. To prevent this dangerous situation for the vehicle and driver, the tire with delta4x4's Beadlock technology is pressed onto the rim flange with a beadlock ring during mounting. The armed forces demand that their vehicles can temporarily drive at a speed of 80 km\/h for up to 100 kilometers.
