The set combines the mobile wash basin BOXIO WASH PLUS with the BOXIO WASH UP including a water filter system. This allows you to filter water, wash, rinse, freshen up, and keep your outdoor setup clean – completely without electricity and without a fixed water connection.

The BOXIO WASH MAX+ is more than a mobile wash basin. You get a complete setup with which you can filter water from suitable freshwater sources on the go and then use it for your daily needs.
Whether washing hands, rinsing dishes, refilling water, or freshening up after surfing, hiking, or biking: The system gives you significantly more independence on tour.
Washing and rinsing with BOXIO WASH PLUS
The included BOXIO WASH PLUS provides you with a mobile wash basin with a manual hand pump. You don't need electricity, an electric pump, or a fixed water connection. Simply set it up, insert the tank, pump, and use water.
The system contains a 5L fresh water canister and a 5L waste water canister. Clean water and grey water are thus kept cleanly separated from each other.
Showering and cleaning with BOXIO Shower
With the included BOXIO Shower, your WASH MAX+ becomes even more versatile. You can quickly shower after bathing, surfing, hiking, or an off-road day, rinse equipment, or remove sand and dirt.
Especially on tours without fixed sanitary facilities, this is a real advantage: you remain more flexible and have water exactly where you need it.
Filtering water with 3-stage technology
The BOXIO water filter system works with three filter stages: a pre-filter made of PP cotton, a UF membrane and activated carbon. According to the manufacturer, the system removes sand, rust, suspended solids, and sediments, filters 99.99% of bacteria as well as protozoa and microplastics, and reduces odors and bad taste.
The filter capacity is up to approx. 8,000 liters. This makes the WASH MAX+ particularly interesting for longer tours, remote pitches, and trips where you don't always have direct access to clean water.
Using water from external sources
With the WASH UP and the Water Filter System, you can collect and filter water from suitable freshwater sources. The Waterbag can be used to collect water, then the water is passed through the filter into the canister or directly for use.
This makes you more independent of campsite faucets and allows you to better use your setup on remote tours. Please always consider the quality and suitability of the water source.
Filter, refill, and stay self-sufficient
The filter system can be used flexibly. You can drink directly from a source, use water via a flexible bottle, or prepare a canister filling with the 5L Waterbag.

Setup and use
Place the wash basin on a stable and level surface. Connect the hand pump and check that the fresh water and waste water canisters are correctly installed. For the filter function, use the WASH UP with the Water Filter System and a suitable freshwater source.
For long-term use, you should regularly clean the tanks to avoid odors. Before frost, the tanks must be emptied to prevent damage from freezing water.
Important notes on the water filter
The water filter is intended for suitable freshwater sources. Do not use it for saltwater, chemically contaminated water, or visibly heavily polluted sources. Always check the water source on the go and adhere to the manufacturer's setup and safety instructions.
Replacement pads for the filter are available separately in a supply pack.
