Alu-Cab Hardtop "Explorer" for Ford Ranger 2023+ Double Cab Black/Smooth

The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer is a robust and versatile aluminum solution for pickups. Its well-thought-out design combines comfortable access to the truck bed with numerous mounting and organization options for travel, leisure, and work. Two full-length side flaps provide generous access to the cargo area. Additionally, the tailgate with a full-surface rear window facilitates access to the rear of the truck bed. The safety glass used is E-approved and ensures a clear view through the hardtop. Integrated T-slots inside offer flexible possibilities for attaching accessories and individual organization solutions. Two C-rails on the roof, as well as the integrated roof rails, create additional mounting points for suitable rack systems, awnings, transport boxes, and other accessories. Three integrated LED interior lights illuminate the truck bed and facilitate access to equipment in poor lighting conditions. The walkable checker plate roof has a non-slip surface and forms a stable base for suitable roof structures and rack systems. The aluminum construction is designed for regular use and is suitable for overlanding, camping, trade, transport, and daily use. Waterproof central locks, high-quality lever locks, and continuous hinges support reliable and functional use. The hardtop weighs from 52 kg, depending on the vehicle model and version. The permissible roof load is up to 200 kg dynamic while driving and up to 400 kg static when stationary. Vehicle compatibility, weight, design, and fastening differ depending on the pickup model. Mounting instructions The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer is supplied with a suitable, vehicle-specific mounting kit. Fastening is done via the designated mounting points on the truck bed, on existing rails, or on the vehicle frame. For a secure installation, the fasteners are designed for a direct connection to the truck bed. An existing bedliner may therefore need to be removed or adjusted accordingly in the area of the mounting points. Before assembly, check that the truck bed and the vehicle-specific mounting points are freely accessible. Drill-free assembly is possible for suitable vehicles. The actual assembly time and the required work steps depend on the vehicle model, the equipment of the truck bed, and the mounted accessories. For the PHEV model, the bedliner must either be removed or slightly cut in the left corner to access the hardtop mounting point.

The Explorer Hardtop is supplied with a suitable mounting kit. Fastening is done via vehicle-specific mounting points on the truck bed, on existing rails or on the vehicle frame.

The fasteners are designed for a direct connection to the truck bed. An existing bedliner may therefore need to be removed or adjusted in the area of the mounting points.

For suitable vehicles, drill-free assembly is possible in approximately 45 minutes. The actual assembly time and the required work steps depend on the vehicle model, the truck bed equipment and additional accessories.

Wiring for the brake light and interior lighting each cost extra, and will be charged in addition to the simple hardtop assembly.
