The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer is a robust and versatile aluminum solution for pick-up trucks. Its sophisticated design combines comfortable access to the load bed with numerous attachment and organization options for travel, leisure, and professional use. Two full-length side flaps provide generous access to the cargo area. Additionally, the tailgate with a full-surface rear window facilitates access to the rear area of the load bed. The safety glass used has E-approval and ensures clear visibility through the hardtop. Integrated T-tracks in the interior offer flexible possibilities for attaching accessories and individual organization solutions. Two C-rails on the roof and the integrated roof rack create additional mounting points for suitable carrier systems, awnings, transport boxes, and other accessories. Three integrated LED interior lights illuminate the load bed and facilitate access to equipment in poor lighting conditions. The walkable checker plate roof has a non-slip surface and forms a stable base for suitable roof structures and carrier systems. The aluminum construction is designed for regular use and is suitable for overlanding, camping, trade, transport, and daily use. Waterproof central locks, high-quality lever locks, and continuous hinges support reliable and functional use. The hardtop weighs from 52 kg, depending on the vehicle model and version. The permissible roof load is up to 200 kg dynamically while driving and up to 400 kg statically when stationary. Vehicle compatibility, weight, design, and fastening differ depending on the pick-up model. Mounting instructions The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer comes with a matching, vehicle-specific mounting kit. Fastening is done via the designated mounting points on the load bed, on existing rails, or on the vehicle frame. For a secure installation, the fastening elements are designed for a direct connection to the load bed. An existing bed liner may therefore need to be removed or adjusted accordingly in the area of the fastening points. Before mounting, check that the load bed and the vehicle-specific fastening points are freely accessible. For suitable vehicles, drill-free mounting is possible. The actual mounting time and the required work steps depend on the vehicle model, the equipment of the load bed, and the mounted accessories.

Notes

The Explorer Hardtop comes with a suitable mounting kit kit. It is attached via vehicle-specific mounting points on the load bed, on existing rails or on the vehicle frame.

The fasteners are designed for a direct connection to the load bed. An existing bed liner may therefore need to be removed or adjusted in the area of the mounting points.

For suitable vehicles, drill-free installation is possible in about 45 minutes. The actual installation time and the required steps depend on the vehicle model, the load bed equipment and additional accessories.

Wiring of the brake light and interior lighting each cost extra and are charged in addition to the basic hardtop installation.
