Available on request only! The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer is a robust and versatile aluminum solution for pick-ups. The well-thought-out design combines comfortable access to the load bed with numerous attachment and organization options for travel, leisure, and work. Two full-length side flaps allow generous access to the cargo space. In addition, the tailgate with a full-surface rear window facilitates access to the rear area of the load bed. The safety glass used is E-approved and ensures a clear view through the hardtop. Integrated T-slots in the interior provide flexible options for attaching accessories and individual organization solutions. Two C-rails on the roof and the integrated roof railing create additional mounting points for suitable carrier systems, awnings, transport boxes, and other accessories. Three integrated LED interior lights illuminate the load bed and facilitate access to equipment in poor lighting conditions. The walkable checker plate roof has a non-slip surface and forms a stable base for suitable roof structures and carrier systems. The aluminum construction is designed for regular use and is suitable for overlanding, camping, trade, transport, and daily use. Waterproof central locks, high-quality lever locks, and continuous hinges support reliable and functional use. The hardtop weighs from 52 kg, depending on the vehicle model and version. The permissible roof load is up to 200 kg dynamic while driving and up to 400 kg static when stationary. Vehicle compatibility, weight, version, and fastening differ depending on the pick-up model. Mounting instructions: The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer comes with a suitable, vehicle-specific mounting kit. The attachment is made via the intended mounting points on the load bed, on existing rails or on the vehicle frame. For a secure installation, the fastening elements are designed for a direct connection to the load bed. An existing bed liner may therefore have to be removed or adjusted accordingly in the area of the fastening points. Before mounting, check whether the load bed and the vehicle-specific fastening points are freely accessible. For suitable vehicles, drill-free mounting is possible. The actual mounting time and the necessary steps depend on the vehicle model, the equipment of the load bed and the mounted accessories to enable mounting. In the PHEV model, the bed liner must either be removed or slightly cut in the left corner to reach the mounting point for the hardtop.

The Explorer hardtop comes with a suitable mounting kit supplied. Attachment is via vehicle-specific mounting points on the load bed, on existing rails, or on the vehicle frame.

The fastening elements are designed for a direct connection with the load bed. An existing bed liner may therefore have to be removed or adjusted in the area of the fastening points.

For suitable vehicles, drill-free mounting is possible in about 45 minutes. The actual mounting time and the required work steps depend on the vehicle model, the load bed equipment, and additional accessories.

The wiring for the brake light and interior lighting both cost extra and are charged in addition to the simple hardtop installation.
