The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer is a robust and versatile aluminum solution for pickups. Its well-thought-out design combines comfortable access to the truck bed with numerous attachment and organization options for travel, leisure, and work. Two full-length side flaps provide generous access to the cargo area. Additionally, the tailgate with a full-surface rear window facilitates access to the rear of the truck bed. The safety glass used has E-approval and ensures a clear view through the hardtop. Integrated T-tracks on the inside offer flexible options for attaching accessories and individual organizational solutions. Two C-tracks on the roof and the integrated roof rails create additional mounting points for suitable carrier systems, awnings, transport boxes, and other accessories. Three integrated LED interior lights support the illumination of the truck bed and facilitate access to equipment in poor lighting conditions. The walkable checker plate roof has a non-slip surface and forms a stable base for suitable roof structures and carrier systems. The aluminum construction is designed for regular use and is suitable for overlanding, camping, trade, transport, and daily use. Waterproof central locks, high-quality lever locks, and continuous hinges support reliable and functional use. The hardtop weighs from 52 kg, depending on the vehicle model and version. The permissible dynamic roof load is up to 200 kg while driving and up to 400 kg static when stationary. Vehicle compatibility, weight, design, and attachment differ depending on the pickup model. Installation note: The Alu-Cab Hardtop Explorer comes with a suitable, vehicle-specific mounting kit. Attachment is via the designated mounting points on the truck bed, existing rails, or the vehicle frame. For a secure installation, the fastening elements are designed for a direct connection to the truck bed. An existing bed liner may therefore need to be removed or adjusted accordingly in the area of the mounting points. Before installation, check that the truck bed and the vehicle-specific mounting points are freely accessible. Drill-free installation is possible on suitable vehicles. The actual installation time and the necessary work steps depend on the vehicle model, the equipment of the truck bed, and the mounted accessories.

For suitable vehicles, drill-free installation is possible in approximately 45 minutes. The actual installation time and the necessary work steps depend on the vehicle model, the truck bed equipment, and additional accessories.

Wiring for the brake light and interior lighting each cost extra, and are charged in addition to the basic hardtop installation.
