Flipt is a foldable cargo organizer for many pickup trucks. It serves to extend or divide the cargo area and can be quickly removed if necessary. It is the perfect addition to any tonneau cover. When folded, it divides the cargo area into two parts, preventing, for example, cargo from sliding across the entire area while driving. In vehicles with a closed tonneau cover, with the tailgate open, you can easily access items stored in the rear area, as they can no longer slide forward towards the driver's cabin. This is a great gain in comfort. If transporting bicycles, motorcycles, quads, or large items such as tree cuttings requires driving with the tailgate open, Flipt provides a safeguard against items stored in the cargo area from falling out. Heavy items should, of course, be secured to the lashing eyes of the pickup. Flipt is strapped to the tailgate with a strap to prevent movement during driving. Standing upright and secured, Flipt can be used as a rear crossbar for transporting long items such as canoes when the tailgate is closed. Flipt can support up to 100 kg. When removed, it can be used as a simple seat or table. Materials The three width-adjustable bars of the Flipt are made from an oval aluminum profile specially manufactured for Flipt. The shape makes it particularly stable, and the scratch-resistant powder coating gives it a good look. Brackets and connectors are made from highly resistant and UV-resistant polypropylene. Moving parts are made from nylon with 15% fiberglass content. This significantly reduces wear and requires no grease lubrication. Flipt is designed for outdoor use in all weather conditions. The selected materials ensure a long service life. The total weight is approx. 6 kg. Installation Flipt is delivered in individual parts. For the installation of the nylon brackets, six 5 mm holes must be drilled in the cargo area. A drilling template is included. The brackets are attached with rivets. In some vehicle models, the brackets are mounted on L-shaped stainless steel reinforcement plates for stiffening. In this case, a total of 10 holes must be drilled.
