Triple-R Series: LED Driving Lights Developed based on the demands of professional motorsport, the LED lights of the Triple-R series set a new standard. The lights are available in five sizes from four up to 28 LEDs, each with 11 watts of power, and in three versions. They have a full aluminum housing in black and, for some models, optionally in silver, a Gore-Tex ventilation membrane, and electronic thermal management, which allows the individual LEDs to always operate in their optimal performance range. The special vacuum-metallized reflectors further increase optical efficiency. The front is made of virtually indestructible polycarbonate. The spot light distribution has been optimized for maximum range by specially shaped reflectors for each individual LED, in accordance with the requirements of rally and endurance motorsport, where very high speeds are driven. While the ST and T series lights also illuminate the road edge directly in front of the vehicle, the Triple-R lights are optimized for range and only achieve maximum side illumination from approximately half their total range. Compared to the hybrid light distribution of the ST and T series, however, there is up to five times the peak brightness. Due to the mounting position of the LEDs and the indirect emission via the hood reflectors, there are fewer vertical changes in the light cone while driving. This results in better visibility in rain or fog compared to conventional lights with LEDs in the center of the reflector. The careful adjustment of the light temperature leads to sharper contrast boundaries and improves visibility. Triple-R Standard Series Like the ST and T series, the Triple-R Standard series models use high-intensity LEDs with 11 watts of power. Triple-R Elite Series The ultimate road-legal auxiliary driving lights from Lazer Lamps, the Triple-R (750, 850, 1000, and 1250) Elite, 3rd Generation, benefits from improved LEDs and optics. This technology was shared in the company's 2018/9 WRC lighting solutions. The result is a unique automotive lighting experience, without compromise in terms of light output or reliability, and with optimized light distribution using state-of-the-art CAD design and light simulation software. Developed based on the demands of professional motorsport, the LED lights of the Triple-R series set a new standard. Despite the relatively modest dimensions of the Triple-R 1000 Elite, the product achieves E-mark approval solely through the introduction of Dual-Output E-Boost technology. In E-Boost mode, the lamp uses 10136 lumens up to 0.25 lux at 1358 meters. The impressive distance illumination is complemented by a left/right light distribution, which is noticeably improved with the 3rd Generation Elite, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable driving experience at night, whether on-road, off-road, or on the track. Unique for an approved light is the E-Boost technology implemented in Triple-R Elite (750, 850, 1000, and 1250) models, an innovation found for the first time worldwide in Lazer Lamps. Outside of public road traffic, by inserting the so-called Boost Cap, the light can be switched to full power. The range then increases, depending on the model, by up to 1500 meters. Due to the flexible configuration of the lights, they can be used both as legal driving lights and as LED light bars. The installation of an additional light bar can be omitted. The Triple-R lights with position light are also approved as position lights and driving lights according to ECE regulations. Auxiliary Lenses With the "Reeded Lens" auxiliary lenses, the beam angle of the Triple-R lights can be increased from 5° to 10° to 30°, depending on the model, if required. Thus, the lights can be used, for example, both on the road and in off-road use, where a wider beam is desired. If, for example, four lights are mounted on rally vehicles in both horizontal and vertical arrangements as cornering lights, then two auxiliary lenses can illuminate the dark zones resulting from the mounting. The Reeded Lens is made of acrylic glass, covers 4 LEDs, and is fastened with clamps. A seal prevents dirt and water from entering between the auxiliary lens and the headlight glass. The Reeded Lenses can also be mounted on lights with more than 4 LEDs, giving them a hybrid beam profile. Available in the following versions: 5° - 10° Variable Horizontal 15° Horizontal 30° Horizontal 15° Vertical (for vertically mounted lights) Yellow Auxiliary Lenses Yellow light provides better visibility in fog, rain, and snowfall. The reason for this is a reduction in self-glare by approx. 15% due to the reduction of shorter-wavelength blue and violet light components, as these are refracted more strongly than the longer-wavelength yellow light components. The yellow auxiliary lenses are made of acrylic glass, cover 4 LEDs, and are fastened with four clamps. The auxiliary lenses can also be mounted on lights with more than 4 LEDs, giving them a hybrid beam profile depending on the mounted model.
