Lazer Lamps Dashboard Controller - Road

Operation of the Triple-R 1250 Smartview is via a touchscreen dashboard controller, in parallel with the vehicle’s standard high beam. The controller’s elegant, slim-line design is intended to be effortlessly mounted, near to the driver, on any flat surface using 3M VHB pads on the rear of the controller. The controller is activated with the vehicle’s ignition, with the Smartview system being enabled and disabled by pressing and holding the E9 icon for 3 seconds. Back-lit icons denote the lamps’ various functions, with the back-lighting changing to white when a particular function is activated. With the lighting functions aligned to the standard high beam, these will need to be on for the various lighting modes to operate, with the exception of the ‘Near-view’ mode which can operate independently of the high beam (Note – ‘Near-view’ mode should not be used as an alternative dipped beam). ‘Dynamic Dip’ can operate in conjunction with the other functions. A memory function in the controller ensures that the Smartview system returns to the previous lighting mode when the vehicle ignition is turned off. Note: The reason for supplying the dashboard controller as a separate item is so that if a customer fits 2 x Smartview lamps, they only use one controller and therefore do not pay for an expensive component twice.
