MAXTRAX Rope Damper – Recovery Rope Damper

The MAXTRAX Rope Dampener is an essential safety accessory for any vehicle recovery using a winch or kinetic recovery rope. In the unlikely event of a rope or material failure, this rope dampener absorbs the suddenly released kinetic energy and safely guides the rope to the ground. It minimizes the risk of dangerous recoil, thereby protecting people and vehicles. Increased Safety: Drastically reduces rope whip in case of a break – a must for responsible off-road recoveries. Additional Features: Equipped with pockets for extra weight (e.g., sand) to further increase the dampening effect with heavy loads. Visibility: Bright, reflective elements ensure better visibility of the rope's path, even in poor lighting conditions. Robust Design: Made from durable vinyl that withstands even extreme off-road conditions. Easy Installation: Thanks to Velcro fasteners, the dampener can be securely positioned over the rope in seconds.
