To repair a tire puncture, first remove the object that caused the puncture, then apply lubricant and sealant to the reamer and roughen the puncture channel with it. This also automatically brings it to the correct size for the self-vulcanizing strips. Then, guide such a strip through the center hole of the insertion needle, push the insertion needle through the hole in the tire, and pull the insertion needle out of the tire again.
