NAVIS Modular Roof Rack System. (From model year 2011 to 2020). The horntools NAVIS roof rack was developed as a modular system specifically for the VW Amarok. Made from high-quality aluminum, the roof rack is not only very light but also extremely rigid. Its high load capacity of 300 kg is unique in this segment. We chose airline fittings so that you can continue to use your existing fittings with our system. The NAVIS is built so low that the overall height of the vehicle does not change compared to the original railing. We test each system on the vehicle until we are satisfied with the result and achieve our horntools quality. Attention: The roof rack system is only suitable for double cab models with original mounting options on the roof. Features: Fuel consumption & wind noise optimized through tube technology. Lighting mounts in the front panel for all common LED bars. 36 integrated airline lashing points. 6 attachment points for the rack mounts to distribute the weight evenly over the roof. Use of original mounting points (no drilling or cutting) – the rack can be easily removed. Modular design – you can take your NAVIS roof rack with you when you change vehicles. High-quality powder-coated aluminum 5052. TÜV & vehicle manufacturer tested quality. Roof rack weighs only 12.5 kg. CAR SWAP - when changing vehicles, you only need new roof rack feet. Dynamic load capacity: 100 kg. The dynamic load capacity is not the manufacturer's approval. The manufacturer's load capacity must not be exceeded. The static load indicates the loading capacity when stationary. The dynamic load capacity refers exclusively to paved roads. The load must be distributed evenly and flatly. Tests and certificates: The roof racks were tested by Mercedes-Benz for the X-Class and a manufacturer's approval was granted. In addition, the NAVIS has a TÜV test. Every single roof rack is checked before powder coating and measured in a special jig. It is then assembled for testing. This ensures that every rack fits.
