The Novoleen® PU 12 Soft Shackle is the modern textile alternative to the classic steel shackle. It is ideal as a connecting element in off-road and forestry applications, for example, between a winch rope, recovery strap, kinetic recovery rope, or suitable anchor point.
Manufactured from high-strength Novoleen® HMPE fiber, the soft shackle boasts high load capacity while being very lightweight. Compared to a steel shackle, it is significantly lighter, easier to store, and particularly gentle on materials during use.

Every connecting element counts in vehicle recovery. The textile shackle reduces the risk of damage to ropes, straps, bumpers, or anchor points and is pleasantly easy to handle. Since no heavy metal part is used, the shackle can be quickly mounted, safely gripped, and stored in a space-saving manner in the recovery setup.
The integrated knot closure ensures a reliable connection under tensile load. The practical pull cord allows the shackle to be opened more easily after use.

Care and Safety Instructions
After heavy loads, the soft shackle should always be checked for abrasion, crushing, cuts, or damaged fibers. Contact with sharp edges should be avoided. After use in mud, sand, or salt water, cleaning with clear water and complete drying before storage is recommended.
Store the soft shackle dry, clean, and protected from continuous UV exposure. If visible damage occurs, the shackle must no longer be used.

The soft shackle is not approved for personal safety or for lifting loads. The stated minimum breaking load is not a working load value. Depending on the application, suitable safety factors must be considered.
