Assembly instructions
The spacers are mounted on the vehicle with the supplied fasteners. The standard wheels are then attached with the original standard fasteners. The prescribed minimum screw-in length of all fasteners must be observed.
According to the manufacturer's specifications, the screw-in length must be at least 7.5 turns. In addition, sufficient length of the wheel studs must be ensured. Depending on the wheel type, the standard wheel studs may protrude slightly beyond the wheel contact surface of the spacers. If the wheels used do not have suitable pockets for this, a slight shortening of the wheel studs may be necessary. The minimum screw-in length must still be maintained.
Note on wheel coverage
When using the wheel spacers, sufficient wheel coverage must be ensured. According to the requirement, the installation of permanently attached wheel arch extensions with a width of 35 mm may be necessary for this.
The wheel coverage must be provided in the range of 30 degrees forwards and 50 degrees backwards to the vertical center axis of the wheel. Please observe the specifications from the TÜV parts certificate and the requirements of the testing authority.
Registration and technical approval
The wheel spacer kit is supplied with a TÜV parts certificate. After assembly, a modification inspection by a recognized inspection organization is usually required. Please check before installation whether your wheel/tire combination, wheel coverage, chassis changes and other modifications comply with the requirements of the certificate.
For other wheel/tire combinations, additional lift, modified suspensions or non-standard bump stops, a separate inspection may be required.
