About the SDK
With a so-called Suspension-Distance-Kit (SDK), spacer rings are installed on the suspension. On the front axle, spacer rings are mounted below the strut mounts of the suspension. On the rear axle, either spacer blocks are used for lifting or extended shock absorbers are used to achieve the lift. *
The main advantage is the gain of more real ground clearance and the possibility to mount larger tires. Typically, no additional suspension travel is gained. delta4x4 components are designed so that changes to the suspension geometry result in the lowest possible wear on drive components. Therefore, extreme lifts are not possible with this method.
