The company delta4x4 has been Europe's specialist for "Body-Lift-Kits" (BLK) for more than three decades. A body lift refers to a raise in which the body is separated from the vehicle's load-bearing ladder frame and the chassis is raised using spacer blocks.

The steering column, fuel filler neck, brake and fuel lines and other components may need to be extended. Depending on the vehicle model, it may also be necessary to relocate the bumpers. All vehicle-specific parts for the conversion are included in the kits. With this method of raising the vehicle, the complete axle geometry of the vehicle is maintained compared to a "Suspension-Distance-Kit". The articulation angles of the drive shafts, cardan shafts and axle components are not changed.

The main advantage of a BLK is the ability to install larger tires. Larger tires, in turn, allow for a higher wading depth and enable larger approach and departure angles, thereby improving off-road capability. Increased wear on the drivetrain does not occur. Noise caused by tighter articulation angles on the drive shafts also remains unchanged.
